Rebecca and Chris purchased the salon in February 2021 and rebranded it as Ember & Ash, expanding the service offering to include professional hair cutting, colouring, specialist curly hair services, and a curated range of home haircare products.
Originally from Wellington, they relocated to the Horowhenua in 2012 and now live locally with their two children, two cats, and two dogs.
In the salon, they stock Clever Curl and Keune professional haircare ranges to support all hair types, including curls.
Rebecca is a qualified hairdresser with over 27 years of experience and a passion for working with Curls. Chris is a fully qualified barber and is now also offering a selection of limited hairdressing services, supported by senior expertise to ensure quality results.

We aim to be as sustainable wherever possible, We have moved to commercially compostable courier bags and also deliver packages locally in our Ev vehicle to cut down on emissions. We also prioritise sourcing products from supplies that are environmentally friendly.
